Johnson Maro

Johnson is an accountant at ASL, he is the youngest in the family, his dream was to become a chef imagining to be sipping his café con leche until he ventured into accounting. Having worked at Base Titanium, a wholly owned subsidiary of Australian and UK listed company, he brings over 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial management , taxation, internal controls and audit. He is the brain behind ASL internal controls resulting in successful financial audits with no major findings.

He holds a Bachelor of Economics from the university of Nairobi and  a Master’s in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting from the same institution. In 2023, he further strengthened his credentials by obtaining a professional certificate as a Certified Human Resource Professional. He is also a certified public accountant (CPA-K).

When he is not dealing with numbers and ensuring ASL legal compliance, you will find him at the coastal beaches Kitesurfing, Snorkeling and Scuba Diving.
